Raymond Moore - TV documentary special

Shown below is a rare glimpse of the life and work one of the UK's best kept photgraphy secrets, Raymond Moore.

I was due to meet Ray on a workshop at Duckspool in Somerset in the late 1980's. Sadly he passed away just days before the workshop was due to begin.

I just watched all three parts. I found them very interesting, he(Raymond Moore) is very interesting and i enjoyed listening to him talk about his work. My current work is very similar, and i found inspiration knowing that i am not the only person who has struggled with photographing(what others wouldn't). I am currently putting together a 10 minute presentation for my third year university degree major project, these videos will help a lot.

Thanks for posting, regards, Lee Coates. www.leecoates.org

Hi Lee,
really glad you enjoyed watching the Ray Moore TV documentary.
Fortunately, local TV in the area near where Ray was living had the foresight to document Ray's thoughts and comments on his work.
His work is still not widely known and seems to have been most appreciated in the US.
cheers - Nick
